The garlic fries and the sunset pasta are highly recommended, while the Shepherd's pie and the coxinha "chicken" are described as delicious.
One standout dish that patrons keep coming back for is the gnocchi, described as the best since a visit to New York. The friendly and attentive servers, like Martin, ensure that guests feel well taken care of without being intrusive.
However, there have been some minor customer concerns, such as receiving utensils when not requested and discrepancies in menu offerings. Despite this, the overall consensus is that Bossa Nova Brazilian Cuisine is a must-visit spot for late-night cravings, group gatherings, or a cozy dinner for two.

Aside from the convenient hours and INCREDIBLE selection and quality food the customer service here is absolutely amazing. André is one of the most hospitable and knowledgeable waiters I've ever had, which truly enhanced the experience; I am a sommelier and his wine recommendation was fantastic. Will be coming back more often than I have been!
Everything was well the service, the food, the drinks. Especially our server Andre was so fast with everything and had my date and I in best interest. First time at this location and will come back !! :))
Thoroughly enjoyed my meal here when I was in town and definitely recommend. I believe they have at least three locations in the city and I hear it's especially popular with the late night crowd after night clubbing. I see why. The menu is diverse enough to please a crowd and soak up all that alcohol you've just been imbibing. My friend and I went during more quieter hours in the after noon where we had our pick of tables. Decor is rustic. There are patio, dining room and backyard seating options. My friend had a big salad and added grilled chicken. I had the Alfredo pasta and added grilled shrimp. It was so delicious I ate the whole thing and that's rare for me.
If you're craving a late-night bite with a touch of Brazilian flair, Bossa Nova Brazilian Cuisine has you covered. The garlic fries are a must-try--crispy, flavorful, and perfectly seasoned. Although the vegan options are limited, what they do offer is good and satisfying, which I appreciate as a vegan. I love that they stay open late, making it a great spot for those late-night cravings, but be prepared--it can be a little on the pricey side. That said, the quality is there, and it's definitely worth checking out if you're in the mood for something different.
One of my first restaurants in Los Angeles, 2005. When ever I'm around that's my go to spot. I usually get a glass of wine, and the sunset pasta. Recently I've had the Shepards pie, wow! Delicious! COXINHA "CHICKEN" Homemade Potato Pastry, Stuffed With Chicken And Cheese. Was ok. Chimichuri and picahna PARRILHA Coulotte Steak On The Broiler. Served On A Bed Of Gorgonzola Mashed Potatoes, Broiled Asparagus, Chimichurri Sauce And Crisp Onions. Super good. The head waiter typically greets me with a big smile and warm welcome. He already knows the type of wine I like. He's gracious enough to go through the menu with me to make sure I order what I'm in the mood for. Unfortunately I can't remember his first name but his middle name is Gabriel. I have introduced this restaurant to many people and will continue to do so.
Best gnocchi I have had since I visited New York. Martin was great as our server. Was there when we wanted him without hovering. I would like to suggest that you incorporate your tasty mushroom cheese sauce into a risotto! Now that will be tasty!
Foods mostly great. Just a pet peeve: Please stop giving me utensils when I select "NO UTENSILS". I don't know what to do with all of them. LIFEHACK: Save them for a customer who put "YES UTENSILS"
Food was delicious!! The best feijoada in Los Angeles!! The server Martin is great! We're definitely coming back soon!
Food here is so good. From the pastas to the chicken (and that garlic bread), I've honestly never had a disappointing meal here. However I did have a bad experience with a server 'Gabriel' on a day when I first tried their happy hour. On their site, they have chicken fingers that is offered with three different sauces. I chose the lemon one, and he said the only offer two but I could pay extra for the lemon, which is absurd that they nickel and dime you for this. Even though it's on their site-and I'll admit not on the the physical menu-it would not be honored this one time. I rejected BOTH sauces, but added on the truffle fries. When I asked a manager about this, she just said the online menu needs to be updated, and the sauce I originally wanted would incur a fee. No budging on this, so I figured I would just get through this meal. Well, food comes out with BOTH sauces, which I did not touch. Not only did this terrible server never check back on me, he clearly didn't pay attention and write the order correctly, AND he also forgot to add in my fries. You'd think as a server you would WANT to add the extra stuff in, but clearly I wasn't working with the best or brightest here. I had to wait forever to receive my check since he clearly wasn't coming back, but I will say the highlight of the day was the other server who came to assist. Martin was very helpful when I explained my ordeal, and of course when I had my receipt, the upcharge was there for the sauces I DID NOT EAT. Martin basically took care of everything, and declined the tip that I wanted him and definitely not Gabriel to have. Note I still kept this at 4-stars due to the food that I do like, and for the service from Martin. Between him and the guy Daniel ES I had prior, there are some good ones here. I also reached out to their customer service outside, and Stephanie was also kind and understanding. The good outweighs the bad on this one!
